If you would like to perpetuate this trip for yourself, your family, friends and colleagues, then we invite you to join THE INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY "FRIENDS OF THE RUSSIAN MUSEUM"
Your subscription fee will be both a charitable contribution and a noble act of maintaining and augmenting the priceless treasures of art held in the collection of the Russian Museum the world's largest collection of Russian fine art.
The size of your contribution will not only determine the level of assistance you make to the museum, but also those rights and supplementary benefits to which you will automatically become privileged.
PERSONAL MEMBERSHIP. Any person can become a personal member of the "Friends of the Russian Museum" society. For an annual subscription of $50 (in roubles) You will automatically be sent invitations (for two people) to the opening of all exhibitions held in the palaces of the Russian Museum. You will receive a personal card entitling you to visit the museum free of charge. You will also be sent invitations (for two people) to the opening of all exhibitions held in the palaces of the Russian Museum. For an annual subscription of $500 You will receive a personal "silver" card entitling you and a guest of your choice to visit the museum free of charge. You will also be sent invitations (for two people) to the opening of all exhibitions held in the palaces of the Russian Museum, as well as other events (lectures, concerts). You will be allowed to purchase exhibition catalogues at a 15% discount.
GROUP MEMBERSHIP. Any organization can apply for group membership of the society. For an annual subscription of $5000 (in roubles) You will receive a Certificate of Group Membership of the "Friends of the Russian Museum" society. Your organisation will be offered the rent-free use of one of the palace halls once a year to hold a reception for employees and guests (for up to 75 people). The museum can also, at your express wish, organize an accompanying cultural programme at a reduced fee. The names all persons and organizations joining the society will be published in the museum's annual report. Your contributions will help finance the following programmes of the Russian Museum:
- restoration of the museum palaces and works of art; academic and educational programmes; exhibitions and publications as well as financing the activities of the "Friends of the Russian Museum" society.

The State Russian Museum is happy to accept any help in the form of sponsorship from individuals and companies, not only in the form of direct financial assistance, but also in the form of reduced rates for services, maintenance work, the supply of museum equipment and repair and construction work. Artistes and creative ensembles are invited to participate in the holding of special events at the museum on terms advantageous for the museum. Commercial firms are likewise asked to support the museum in the holding of these events.
