On January 20th 1993 first call-signs of the first Christian Interdenominational Radio Station TEOS sounded in Saint Petersburg. From the first day on we broadcast 16 hours a day.

According to human standards the station started to work on nothing and out of nothing. The staff consisted just of some enthusiasts. "The studio" was a simple room in the "communal apartment", (an apartment shared by two or more families), equipped by the simplest mike, primitive mix board and a reel to reel tape recorder, abandoned by "Lenkontsert"- State Concert Organization.
	But we trusted God. Our strong desire to serve Jesus Christ made us lay all our hope on His will and it has lead us to amazing results! The radio survived, it has developed and in 1995 it achieved the first real studio. Great financial impute has been made by one Canadian Christian businessman - Dr. Robert Lowe.

In October 1997 we teamed together with UCB International Ltd. and expanded our broadcasting to Moscow. The same year radio TEOS became the member of the UCB International (United Christian Broadcasters International). But, since July 1, 2000 decided to suspend their project in Russia. Because of this decision we have to stop our broadcasting in Moscow.

The great variety of programs the people can hear through our broadcasting. Besides sermons on salvation and confirmation in Jesus Christ Radio TEOS considers promotion of spirit of love, common respect and cooperation among Christian confession to be its greatest task. Not only theological issues are raised at the Radio TEOS. We aim to meet all the practical daily life problems and trying to give them Christian perspective.

Radio TEOS is the only broadcasting radio station in Russia which budget comprise for about 30% on donations of the listeners. Thousands of listeners transfer every month thousands of RUR to the bank account of the Radio TEOS. Not withstanding difficult economic situation the listeners sacrifice their daily physical bread just to get their daily spiritual bread.

We know that only with the God's blessings can we continue with this ministry. Russian people cannot cover all the expences due to the state of the economy and continual inflation.
